Many parents ask what makes Synergy Dance Company different…our number one goal is your dancer!!!! What Makes the Synergy Dance Company Unique? Our company is for any dancers in the Austin and surrounding areas. They have the opportunity to attend master classes and workshops lead by the industries leading instructors and choreographers through the year and will attend competitions and perform at local events and shows. Company members have the opportunity to develop skills in many aspects of Urban dance styles: Street Funk, Hip Hop, Contemp-Hop, Whaacking, Dancehall, and more including traditional styles. Our company promotes empowerment, ambition, individuality, hard work, and self worth through the love of dance. We are an extremely competitive/performance dance company made up of several individual teams ranging from ages of 9 yrs old – adults. The Empire Company – Urban Dance Empire (formally 2 Hype) is the reigning 5 time National and 3 time Grand National Championship Hip Hop Company. Sherrie where their progress is accessed and recommendations are made. Dancers undergo a twice yearly personal evaluation by Ms. Sherrie and staff decide placement collectively. Dancers placed inappropriately are at a risk for injury, so age and strength are carefully considered when Ms. All class placement is determined by the dancer’s ability to meet the outlined skills assessed for each level. All company classes are graded on a technical level from 1-8. We begin accepting dancers into our SDC program at age 6 with a minimum of two years dance instruction.

In addition we also offer modern, lyrical, contemporary, drill team, acro dance and hip hop dance styles to our dancers through extra classes, guest teachers and master classes. By participating you further agree to release and discharge Synergy Dance® Ltd and Synergy Dance® Outreach from any claims or causes of action, known or unknown, now and in the future.Dancers are required to attend classes twice per week with separate classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and technique. You are partaking in these activities freely and therefore as above, should it result in any injury, you agree to absolve Synergy Dance® Ltd and Synergy Dance® Outreach of any liability regarding any injury sustained now, or in the future as a result of participation in Synergy Dance® Ltd and Synergy Dance® Outreach online activities. If you or your child engage in any of the dance, yoga or meditation sessions on this platform, you agree to do so at your own risk and Synergy Dance® Ltd and Synergy Dance® Outreach will not be held accountable for any injuries that may occur. It is recommended that any children taking part in Synergy Dance® online activities should be supervised by a responsible adult.
